Prayer is mentioned hundreds of times in the Bible. When Jesus taught about prayer, He did not say “if” you pray – He said “when” you pray.  But why should we pray? And why should we keep praying when we aren’t seeing our prayers answered? Are there prayer strategies that are more effective than others? Does prayer need to look a certain way? Let’s gather together and explore these questions and more through what the Bible teaches about prayer. 

Who: Anyone curious about prayer or wanting to deepen their relationship with God through prayer – invite friends to join you!

What: This is an opportunity that will create space for us to dig into God’s Word to learn more about why we pray and provide practical tips on how to grow in the practice of prayer at home.

Foundations of Prayer includes four of the six weeks gathering together to learn about prayer with tips to engage with at home, and two of the six weeks provides space to ask questions and discussion after engaging in prayer together. Be sure to bring your Bible and a notebook with you.

Where: Restoration Church 16880 Cedar Ave, Rosemount, MN 55068

When: Weekly on Tuesdays from 7-8:30pm, April 16 – May 21

Serve Day | May 5, 2024

Each Spring we choose a Sunday to partner with Westview Elementary and each other and worship through serving. Collectively we assist Westview with spring cleaning projects around the school, build relationships and have fun together. This year, we will also work on several spring projects around Restoration. Everyone is invited to serve! Projects will be available for preschool aged children and older.

UPDATED: Meet at Restoration at 9am for prayer and instructions on Sunday, May 5. Bring work gloves and gardening tools. An email will be sent out soon with additional tools needed for projects at both Restoration and Westview. Serve Day will end at 1pm. Lunch will not be provided this year, but we will have fruit, snacks and water available.

Ladies Book Discussion Group
