Misty Harper-Anderson is now Ministry Team Lead of Care and Prayer Ministries

Misty has been leading our Care Team since April 2025, guiding our ministry through an expanded focus on pastoral care while Pastor Rob was on sabbatical. This week, the Leadership Team approved Pastor Rob’s proposal to unite our Care and Prayer Ministries under Misty’s leadership.

This transition comes with deep gratitude for Hilary Sharp and Lezlie Steiner, who have faithfully led the Prayer Team over the past 18 months. Their leadership has strengthened the prayer culture of Restoration through worship and prayer nights, intentional intercession for our church, and a prayer class designed to help others grow in their prayer life. Hilary will continue to serve as a valued member of the team, continuing to model what it means to be a true prayer warrior. Please join us in thanking both Hilary and Lezlie for their dedicated service and spiritual leadership.

The staff and Misty agree that there is some overlap of these two ministry areas. While we do have a few people who serve on both teams, the teams will function separately but interdependently. Misty will be responsible for scheduling both teams, sharing care and prayer requests with the respective teams and improving our communication loops. Our desire is to help people be restored in Jesus so they can better shine Jesus' light and bring his hope into the world. Misty will work with Lindsay, our worship director, on specific prayer events and initiatives.

Trunk or Treat

Bring a friend with you to Trunk or Treat on October 25 from 3-5:30pm! Families, register now to attend and enjoy decorated trunks, candy, games, and more. We’ll also have tables set up for pumpkin carving — bring your pumpkin and our volunteers will clean it out for you to carve. All carving tools will be provided.

Meet + Greet | October 26

The Meet and Greet happens after church quarterly and it's a casual time of getting to know some other people from Restoration and build community. We provide a light lunch of sandwiches, fruit and chips. Right after the 2nd service ends we will meet in the Discover Room and it should end around 1pm. If you have any questions about Restoration, getting involved or becoming a member, this is a great place to ask questions!
