Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.
Proverbs 3:27

My favorite part of packing food at Feed My Starving Children was just how many lives you can change with just a few hours of your time. Serving with so many others just adds another element of fun to it. The inspirational videos provided more motivation to help all of the children around the world in countries where food is scarce. I have been to Feed My Starving Children before but not nearly as many people were there the last time. I love how you can prove to those children that they can be healthy and live a good life just by packing them food. Packing food for those kids has changed my perspective on what I eat. No matter what, I am thankful I can at least eat something.
The people who serve at Feed My Starving Children are truly amazing. If you could come pack food with us there the next time, I thank you for that. You can help bring many children back from the brink of death.
Peace,
Jillian

*THIS SUNDAY*
Communion Sunday
This Sunday we'll be celebrating communion near the end of the worship service. Communion is a sacred practice in the Christian church instituted by Jesus Christ. The bread and cup represent and remind us of Jesus’ body and blood freely being offered to restore us with God. Please note that we always use juice instead of wine and have gluten-free bread available so that all members of our community can participate in communion. If you have questions about kids and communion, please contact ChrystineVilhauer@restorationcov.org

Are you a behind-the-scenes type of person ready to serve alongside other men and women at Restoration? Do you know someone who could serve in this capacity? If you're willing to move chairs, do light lifting, and set up the stage and worship area once a month on Sunday mornings, then you'd be a valuable asset on the set up team. P3 Retreat – April 6
P3 = Pray, Play, Plan
Every spring, Restoration’s staff, ministry team leaders and members of the Leadership Team meet to pray, play and plan for the year ahead. We reflect and listen to how God has been working and leading us and then we play and plan how we can best respond as a church towards the vision God is calling us to. These plans are then shared and reviewed for approval at our annual Vision Meeting in June. This year's P3 retreat will be held on Saturday, April 6 from 8:30am-3:30pm at the Ministry Center. First and foremost, we ask for your prayers for this important day. If you have specific prayers, input, ideas, or revelation from God for our church or for a particular ministry, we highly encourage you to share them with a Ministry Team Leader or with the Leadership Team before March 25. Contact John Schroeder with any questions: JohnSchroeder@restorationcov.org.
Small Groups
Did you know it's not too late to join a Restoration Small Group? Many of our groups discuss Sunday's message which makes it easy to join in at anytime. If you've considered joining a group but never quite got around to it, there’s still time! For questions or to join a Small Group, please contact kararasmussen@restorationcov.org.

What We're Learning in March

Preschoolers
This month, we will begin laying the foundation for some very important future conversations around the subject of sexual integrity. Before we ever talk with kids and teens about what to do and not do with their bodies, we need to start with who made their body and why that makes them so valuable. And a great place to start is now, in the preschool years, with this simple but powerful truth—God made me. Preschoolers need to learn now that they are wonderfully made by God, in His image. This makes them very important and motivates them to respect themselves and others.

Elementary
In March, we will be talking about the connection between individuality and God’s character. God is one of a kind. He has no beginning and no end. Everything He has created is unique and one of a kind, including people created in His image. Every person is an original reflection of God in how they love, care for others, imagine, create, and solve problems. Jesus lived this out in the way He loved all people, and helped people feel like they had value no matter who they were or what they had done. We can reflect this in the way we live out how God created us.

Restoration Students Director Update
In October, we said goodbye to Derek Wassell as he took on a new, full-time position with a local IT firm. In January, we welcomed Aiden Gosiak as our Interim Students Director through May of this year. The Leadership Team is assembling a search team of leaders and parents of current and future students. The position has been posted on Restoration’s website along with other public job boards. Please visit the job posting and if you have any questions or would like more details, email the LT@restorationcov.org. Please direct any interested applicants to our website HERE.
Restoration Students High School Sunday Nights
Upcoming Dates: Apr 7 | May 5, 19
We’re excited to announce High School Students Sunday Nights on the first and third Sunday of March-May. This will be an opportunity for High School Students to dig into the book of Daniel together. They’ll discover what it means to live in the world but not of the world when presented with today’s teen challenges. Daniel himself faced unbelievable challenges as a believer under Babylonian authority. Each meeting will be tailored to engage students with thought-provoking questions and discussions while delving into the personal lives of believers who share their testimony and how they navigate today’s ebb and flow of modern morals. We will meet from 6:30-8pm at Pastor Rob Jacobson’s house. Snacks will be provided, but please eat supper before you come.

Move Conference – April 5-6
Are you a high school student who wants to see change in your community? Want the opportunity to see your ideas become a reality? MOVE 2019 is the place for you! This two-day immersive conference is held Friday and Saturday, April 5-6 and the theme is NO EXCUSES. MOVE will challenge the way students view their own community by helping them recognize and fulfill a need. Students will have the opportunity to serve in a local community, see how God works through envisioning change, gain their own perspective, and meet others their age with the same passion. Cost is only $30. Meals and accommodations will be provided. Info packet with itinerary is available, signups due March 22. Email aidengosiak@restorationcov.org with any questions.
