Summer book study | Unoffendable

Join Sara Jacobson for a six-week book study on Unoffendable by Brant Hansen—an honest, grace-filled look at letting go of offense in a world quick to anger.
No one has the right to be perpetually offended—even about things that seem justifiably wrong. Holding onto anger, even "righteous" anger, ultimately does more harm than good. This is a radical but freeing idea in a culture that often encourages people to stay angry for the sake of justice or identity. If you're tired of being perpetually frustrated, angry, or reactive, Unoffendable offers a countercultural but deeply liberating path. Applying its truths won't just make you a calmer person—it can make you a more Christ-like one.

We'll gather Tuesday evenings to reflect, discuss, and grow together.

Who: Anyone 16+ welcome
When: Tuesdays, June 3 - July 8 from 7-8:30pm
What: Read chapters 1-3 (only 20 pages!) before the first session on June 3

Purchase the book on any online retailer (the book is only $11 on Amazon right now).

This June, Restoration will be hosting Patio Parties on June 21 and June 27–28 as a way to live out our value of being authentic people living in community with one another. These casual gatherings are a fun opportunity to meet or get to know others from church. Hosts will be opening their homes, and groups will come together to share a meal and/or drinks on the patio.

We’d love to have you join us!
RSVP by June 13.

Foster Together MN Drive

We are partnering with Foster Together MN, a local nonprofit that walks alongside foster, kinship, and adoptive families through relational and tangible support. One way they do this is through Abundant Goods, a resource center that provides essential items to youth in foster care—ensuring every child is met with dignity and care.

We’re hosting a donation drive from Mother's Day to Father's Day to collect their current high-need items (must be new condition):

· Sneakers/tennis shoes for kids and teens

· Teen/adult pajamas

· Toddler underwear

· Sports bras for teen girls

· Gift cards to DoorDash, Target, Amazon, or Walmart

Let’s come together to meet real needs and remind families they’re not alone. Thank you for giving generously!

Serve Day | July 6

Serve Day is coming, and we’re inviting YOU to be part of it! At Restoration, we believe in serving humbly—that our faith should lead us to love others in real, practical ways. Serve Day is one way we live that out together. This year, we’re stepping outside our walls and into our neighborhoods to bless local organizations and show the love of Jesus through acts of service.

This is more than just a volunteer day.

It’s a chance to live out the kind of faith that asks, “If Restoration Church no longer existed, would our community notice? Would we be missed?” Our hope is that through Serve Day, we would continue becoming a church that makes a lasting difference right here in Dakota County.

Today, we’re asking you to sign up and let us know that you're in. In the next few weeks, we will send out more info so you can choose a specific team once we finalize our projects.

Online Giving

There’s no time like the present to set up online giving. Online tithing is a way to remain faithful in your giving regardless of worshipping with us in-person or online. Decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. We encourage you to consider giving online so that your giving is regular and easy to manage – it’s easy to sign up HERE. You can also Text to Give by texting any dollar amount to 84321.

Pray or Receive Prayer

We’ve made it easy for you to share your prayer requests.

  • Send PRAY FOR ME in a text message to: (833) 482-6846.
  • Respond to the message and let us know how we can be praying for you.
  • We will respond to let you know when you’ve been prayed for.
